In the heart of Birmingham city centre, and only a few minutes’ walk from Birmingham New Street train station and the main shopping area, Kensington House is a prime student accommodation – no pun intended! All our studios and apartments come with double or King size beds and their very own private ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin to freshen up in style! Rooms are fully furnished with fitted kitchens and dining areas, large study desk and plenty of storage. There’s superfast Wifi throughout the building and free gym membership to our on-site gym, access to numerous study spaces, an incredible games room and your very own cinema!

Classic Studio - From £244 per week
Spacious 20m² Classic Studio with a double bed. A large desk and storage unit, complete with chair make the Classic Studio an ideal workspace. The open plan kitchen/diner is fully equipped with a multi-functional oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer. A bright and airy ensuite bathroom completes the Classic Studio. Deluxe Studio - From £253 per week
A 20m² Deluxe Studio features a well-eqipped kitchen with high quality appliances, including a multi-functional oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer. Plus, there’s plenty of storage space throughout the room. Free dual occupancy also available!
Premium Studio - From £262 per week
This impressive 20-22m² Premium Studio offers everything you could need during your time at university. A king-size bed is included, as well as ample storage solutions throughout. A large desk and chair are provided as well as a light and airy kitchen/diner with a multi-functional oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer. Making it the perfect living/work space.
The Premium Plus Studio is a true gem, spanning from 29-32m². Included you’ll find a large king size bed, desk and chair as well as seating area to dine. The largest of studios, spanning an impressive 48m². This generously sized Studio has an open-plan layout with a modern, space saving finish throughout. Summer lets begin on Saturday 12/07/2025 and end on Friday 29/08/2025 (7 weeks).
During this period you may book the full 7 weeks or alternatively a shorter stay (minimum 2 weeks).
Rent payment for summer lets need to be paid in full in advance, one month prior to the start of the tenancy start date (Monday 9th June 2025).

Full payment / 1st instalment and £250 deposit – Monday 12th August 2024

Termly payment plans are only available to those with a UK based guarantor. If no UK based guarantor is provided, the prospective tenant will be required to pay annually before the tenancy starts.
The deposit payment is a term of the tenancy agreement. The deposit will be returned at the end of the tenancy less any deductions for breakages, damages or losses by the tenant. All deposits are securely held with The Deposit Protection Service, read more here.
Council tax
Please be aware that you must be a full time student to be exempt from council tax.
