Student Space has been created by Student Minds, the UK’s student mental health charity, to help you to find the support that you need during the Coronavirus pandemic. However you’re feeling, help and guidance is available.
There are three ways that Student Space is here to help:
1.Access dedicated support services for students, by phone or text

Access a dedicated freephone number which is open from 4pm to 11pm, offering listening support, information and onward signposting for students.
Text support: To start a conversation, text ‘STUDENT’ to 85258
Get 24/7 support from a trained volunteer. It’s free, confidential and anonymous. Whether you’re experiencing suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, loneliness or relationship issues, we’re here to listen and support you.
2.Information and tools to help you through the challenges of Coronavirus
Explore a range of trusted information, services and tools to help you with the challenges of student life. https://studentspace.org.uk/
3.Helping you find what support is available at your place of study
Your place of study might provide mental health and counselling support teams, student advice services, support networks and other resources. You can search here
Student Space has been developed collaboratively with services, higher education professionals, researchers and students to complement the existing services available to students.
The support provided by Student Space is safe, confidential and developed with students and experts in student wellbeing and mental health. New services and information will be added to the platform on a regular basis in line with emerging student needs to ensure that it is relevant to you.
